Who we are

What Commit Garden is

A small web app that turns the commits you push to GitHub into a plant that grows. It is a habit tool and a game, not a measure of your work. What we store is described in the privacy page.

Your account

You sign in with GitHub, Google or an email link. Keep access to that sign-in method safe, you are responsible for what happens in your account. One person, one account. You must be at least 16 years old.

Fair use

Do not fake commits to cheat the garden, attack or overload the service, scrape other people’s pages, or use it to break the law. We may suspend an account that does, and we will tell you why.

Free trial and plans

Every account starts with a 7-day free trial. No card is needed and nothing is charged unless you pick a plan. After the trial you can choose Monthly (€5 a month, renews until you cancel) or Forever (€29 once). Forever means for as long as Commit Garden runs, not for your lifetime. If we ever shut the service down we will say so well ahead and refund recent Forever purchases. Your plants and history are never deleted when a trial or subscription ends, you just stop growing new ones.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe, and we never see your card details. Prices are in euros and include any taxes that apply to you. You can cancel a subscription any time from Settings, and it stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

Refunds

Changed your mind? Email support@commitgarden.app within 14 days of paying and we will refund you in full, no questions asked. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Your data

You can disconnect GitHub or delete your account in Settings at any time. Deleting your account removes what we hold about you and cancels any active subscription.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running, but it comes as is, without a guarantee that it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as a streak that was missed because of an outage. We may update these terms; for material changes we will tell you in the app or by email.
